2020 Reading

Well, this was quite the year! I really struggled to achieve my GR goal of 365 books. This was partially due to the fact that I have been teaching 5th & 6th grade LA to the hybrid students on their virtual days and there is a fair amount of time and energy expended there. But even before September and this new job description, I my reading rate was flagging. I found I just couldn't concentrate whenever I sat down to read. It really became a chore! Added to that is the fact that I read some memoirs written for an adult audience, which took longer. I'm proud that I hit the goal, thanks to 40 picture books. My final book of the year, Once and Future, was an absolute delight!
