Publisher synopsis: In the six months since Anthony, Lucy, and George survived a night in the most haunted house in England, Lockwood & Co. hasn't made much progress. Then the team is summoned to DEPRAC headquarters. Kipps is there too, much to Lockwood's annoyance. Bickerstaff's coffin was raided and a strange glass object buried with the corpse has vanished. Inspector Barnes believes the relic to be highly dangerous, and he wants it found.

How much did I adore book one, The Screaming Staircase? I reread it with my ears almost immediately. Phew! What a rip-roaring yarn! Loved the world-building and the characters! And, the audiobook is releasing September 23! So, I can rip through the book with my eyes on the 14th and reread with my ears on the 23! Woot!

I am also in love with the cover. I wonder if there will be a book trailer. The book trailer for The Screaming Staircase was excellent. My students loved it.
