Happy Wednesday! Wasn't the moon glorious last night? The brightness made the constellation, Orion a bit hard to see, though.
Waiting on Wednesday features Planet Ocean: Why we all need a healthy ocean by Patricia Newman with photographs by Annie Crawley. These names ought to be familiar to my eighth graders as the pair's Plastic Ahoy! was our mentor text last year during their seventh grade library cycle class last year. I am a huge fan of Ms. Newman's award-winning informational texts. Her committment to conservation is contagious and I have learned so much from her.
